Ecosystem rallying around Hadoop
This is a strong indicator of the ecosystem rallying around Apache Hadoop and helps further our goal at Hortonworks of making Apache Hadoop an enterprise viable data platform. For Hadoop to reach its full potential organizations must integrate with and adopt the platform to simplify usage in the enterprise.
According to Scott Gnau, President, Teradata Labs, “Teradata is now a single source for all things Hadoop with unmatched appliances, software, services, and customer support,”.
Through tight platform level integration customers will be able to monitor and manage their Hadoop deployments through the Teradata Viewpoint management console.
