Ambari Jobs not visible

    when testing ambari 1.6.1 i tried a minimal installation without “hive”. So my installation process of ambari has no error, no warning and therefor everything should be fine.
    However, i startet a mapreduce job and this job is not listet when i looked at “jobs”. Additional on the Webpage “Job” , “hive” is the default value.

    Question: What do i have to do, to see my jobs?

    The Jobs tab in Ambari supports showing Hive queries that are executed using the Tez engine. The display and analysis of MR jobs is not available at this time.

    The job history UI is available as part of the the History Server with MapReduce, and the ResourceManager UI as part of YARN.
