HDP on Windows – Installation Forum

Building on sandbox… no GUI for windows?

  • #49265
    Warren Campbell

The sandbox is a great learning tool, but it’s Linux. That learning is not really transferable to windows since Hue is not available for Windows at this time… I know Hue for Windows is under consideration, and probably makes sense for that to happen. In the mean time, are there any GUI tools out there that work nearly as well? “create table from file” anything interactive like that or is HDP on windows completely restricted to the command line for now.

    Thanks for any help.
