Is there a way to extract data from SQL Server and extract the data using SQL QUerty and write the query result into CSV file?? If Sqoop doesn’t support this then what is the other way to do it? by using PIG? or ???

You can use Sqoop to import data. Please see a blog post on this that was published recently specifically targeted towards SQLServer (http://hortonworks.com/hadoop-tutorial/import-microsoft-sql-server-hortonworks-sandbox-using-sqoop/) . Sqoop allows you to write the data to text files with CSV, TSV or other separators, import into hive in varous formats like ORC, RCFile etc.
