Hortonworks Sandbox Forum

Can't open sandbox session in browser

Sandbox starts successfully on VMware player and gives me an ip. I can even ping the IP from my PC, but when I try to open it in the browser, it takes me to the registration page. What am I missing?

So turns out that all I had to do was register again and I landed on the sandbox home page :)
I thought it was asking me to register and start all over again, hence the confusion!

    Hi, Kirill

It is correct. The new sandbox did same to me.

    Cheryle Custer

    Hi all,

Sorry for the confusion. We have fixed this issue and have posted the new version. There were two registration prompts in the version that was posted last week. If you have the version with the two registration pages, simply register again at the second prompt and you’ll be taken into the Sandbox.

    Sorry for the confusion.
