    I’d like to verify the integrity of a sandbox file I downloaded from http://hortonworks.com/products/hortonworks-sandbox/#install, but I don’t see any sha1 or other checksum values listed for the downloadable files on that page.

    For example, what is the sha1 checksum for the Hortonworks+Sandbox+2.0+VMware.ova file?

    Hi Joel,

    For VirtualBox:

    The MD5 (Hortonworks+Sandbox+2.0+VirtualBox.ova) = be90c06ae7b364aa1bb2a6b2babc0b35
    The SHA1 = ca34c6270522d5f501e3ffbccb9c9153c40bd389 Hortonworks+Sandbox+2.0+VirtualBox.ova

    For VMWare:

    MD5 = 1278c4731f80c0058b4b7dc298188bf2 Hortonworks+Sandbox+2.0+VMware.ova

    SHA1 = 0f6ce91e10d5ae91be1d19ce7ae75ee7e4ff2a2e Hortonworks+Sandbox+2.0+VMware.ova

    Thanks

    Dave
