    Hi Ravi,

On Node 2 there doesn’t seem to be a java directory of: /usr/jdk64/jdk1.6.0_31/bin/java

On Node 1 it cannot run this command:

    ‘/usr/sbin/useradd -s /bin/bash -g hadoop -G hadoop -m hbase’ returned 1: useradd: cannot lock /etc/passwd

So the user cannot be added

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hi Ravi,

How many nodes are you setting up?
Is the IP address of the Ambari-server 178.251.238.14 ?
Can the ambari agent connect to the ambari server on the IP and port 8440 ?

    Thanks

    Dave
