Connect Hadoop HDP2 to ETL tool Datastage

  • #51145

We have HDP2 on Linux , We also have Datastage as ETL tool on another Linux server,
I am trying to connect the ETL tool to HDP2 HDFS to extract data from the HDFS.
What port would I be using to connect ?

    Can anyone shed some light

I am working on connecting DataStage 9.1 to HDP 2.0.6. What would be necessary configuration changes required to happen in Data Stage.
I want to read and write to HDFS/HIVE .12

Sivagamasundari/Koelli would you post what configuration changes you had to do, and any connector you added to Datastage.

    Thanks in advance.

I have to connect hortonworks hadoop with the data stage 11.3.1 server engine, in order to read the files. Could you let me know where can I find appropriate documentation for configuration etc?
