Hive / HCatalog Forum

Could not connect to sandbox:9083

    Hi Guys,
    When i am trying to connect Hive and HCatalog to the Sandbox then i am getting this error. i restarted server also 2-3 times but did n’t get success. earlier it was working fine.don’t know why its stopped suddenly.Pig and other applications are working fine;

    Please somebody help me on this.

    Please ping the host and check if the firewall is disabled. From command line please run:

    /etc/init.d/iptables stop
    wget http://sandbox:9083
