datastore and server version error while starting ambari server

    Hi,
    I am trying to install HDP 2 using ambari. I have installed latest package for ambari i.e. 1.4 but while starting ambari-server I got following error in log file..

    ERROR [main] AmbariServer:457 – Failed to run the Ambari Server
    org.apache.ambari.server.AmbariException: Current database store version is not compatible with current server version, serverVersion=1.4.1.25, databaseVersion=1.2.5.17

    I have mentioned version of Postgresql installed in my system.Plz Help

    Hi Ravi,

    Was this a fresh install, or do you have data in your cluster?
    If there is no data then you can run an ambari-server reset
    Does this resolve your issue?
