HDP on Windows – Installation Forum

Ext JS Support for Oozie

  • #17891

    Hi ,

I tried rebuilding the Oozie.war file using EXtJS2.2 files and Oozie-Setup.ps1 script. But it needs some more instructions. Please note the powershell script needs modifications to pick up the files and those changes worked fine. I think a little more instructions on this would help.

The reason web-console is important, because Hadoop user cannot impersontate another logged in user, so unless you have the password for Hadoop user or add additional users to access Oozie, its not possible to kickstart oozie jobs.

    Hi Vikas,
Are you simply saying that the default installation of HDP 1.1 windows does not allow to run oozie jobs?
