    OS: Windows7
    VMPLAYER: 5.0.2

    Thanks,
    Puneeth

    Hi Niren,

Yes that does sometimes happen. I have noticed that another place where some of the bits may get twiddled is in the importing process.

    Hi Puneeth,

Can you try downloading the VM again and then reimporting?

    Thanks,
    Ted.

    Hey Puneeth,

This happened to me once .. the file was somehow corrupted during download. What’s the MD5 checksum for the file? Mine is MD5 (Sandbox+HDP+Bombardier2+VMware+noreg.ova) = 60d16281e5137eaecbce08c796158d6e — maybe some bits got twiddled in flight.

    -Niren.

    Hi, Puneeth,

Does your machine support Virtualization? Is it a 64-bit machine and OS?

Virtualization should be enabled in BIOS.

    Thanks for your response Larry.
I’ve cross checked again, the file extension is OVA.

    Thanks,
    Puneeth

    Hi, Puneeth

Can you please double check if the downloaded file extension is OVA or OVF? If it is OVF, please change it to OVA.

    Thanks
    Larry
