Flume Agent Config

• #49023

Hi, I successfully installed and configured the flume agent using an http source, but I’m having issues on the port and related settings. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Xkalibur
What exactly you trying to do? Are you getting an error?

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the quick reply. Briefly put: I’ve configured hdfs as flume’s sink and using an http source configured to listen on port 9998
It however errors out when I try to put some json-formatted data through http://www.<hostname>:9998
I may be doing something wrong steps-wise? (please not I’m just getting started on the platform). Reading redirection and\or advice welcome and appreciated.
