HDP on Windows – Installation Forum

Flumeagent service cannot start

    SOLUTION:
    – navigate to %FLUME_HOME%\bin and locate flumeagent.xml file. If the file does not exist locate flumeservice.xml file and rename it to flumeagent.xml.
    – Once the file is renamed go to windows services and restart flumeagent service.

We are running HDP 2.1 because of the SAP Lumira connection and run into the same error as Perry
