I am getting a different IP address after installation of the sandbox.

to initiate your hortonworks sandbox session please open a browser and enter this address in the browser’s address filed:

    http://127.0.0.1:8888/

You can access SSh on 127.0.0.1:2222

I am unable to view the page using this ip address.

Hi, I too faced the same problem as I was seeing some video on youtube and doing as it said but later I just blindly followed the instructions at http://hortonworks.com/wp-content/uploads/unversioned/pdfs/InstallingHortonworksSandbox1_3onWindowsusingVB.pdf and it is working fine for me now. Just try it once.

    HI Amit, Tanay,

It sounds like either your import of the Sandbox didn’t happen correctly or the download got corrupted. Can you try re-importing it? Also it would help to know the following:

what is the OS of the host computer?
is this host a 64bit hardware box?

    Thanks,
    Ted.

    Hi Tanay,

That’s the address you are supposed to be getting in the lates version of the Sandbox. What do you get when you point your browser at that address?

    thanks,
    Ted.
