Hadoop VM Installation

    I am very new to this hadoop environment settings.I have downloaded the VM version of “Horton sandbox” .When it running it asks for Sandbox login.I entered the login credentials(registered hortonworks credentials),but it is showing login incorrect.Please help me to solve this..

    Thanks for your reply.. Actually what i am done is:
    1.Registered in “Hortonworks” in web browser(With username:xxxxxxxx ,Password:yyyyyyyy).
    2.When i running VM Sandbox it asks for sandbox login(shell).
    3.I entered the above username and password(xxxxxxx,yyyyyyy).
    4.Then it shows login incorrect.

    What i have enter for sandbox login in shell??

    Can you give step-by step process to get start the VM’s sandbox.I think i am missing some steps.


    Hi Subburaj,

    There are instructions on how you start the sandbox.
    You need to download Virtual Box, import the Sandbox machine and start it there.
    On the console of the VM you will see instructions on how to SSH and the URL to access the tutorials.
