    Hi Brian!
Seems you have some problems during launching user interface. Are there any error/warning windows after pressing install button in UI?
Try this: use user interfase to create cluster layout file (using Export button) and use this file for silent installation:

It seems to get farther but still errors out:

    First error (repeated several times):

It seems to be unzipping the file into it’s own directory even though I have specified when the cluster file is.

I moved the file around and got the install to finish. I am trying to get all the smoke tests working now! Thanks for your help!

I am having one heck of a time getting this installer to run. I am using 2.1.1.0 on Windows 2008 Server (with no spaces in my installation path to java). When installing with the UI I get an error that says: “There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A problem run as part of the setup did not finish as expected contact your support personnel or package vendor. When using the CLI option I don’t get anything in the logs:
    C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\hdp-2.1.1.0-GA>msiexec /qn /i “hdp-2.1.1.0.winpk
    g.msi” /lv “hdp_install.log” HDP_USER_PASSWORD=”H@d00p2014″ HDP_LAYOUT=”clusterp
