    Hi

I am new to Hadoop and wish to learn Hadoop on my windows machine. On the hortonworks site, I see two download buttons, one for HDP and other for Sandbox. Which one am I supposed to download?

I also realize that I will need a separate VMWare download, so I have already installed that. Please advise.

    Hi, Sneha

Thanks for you interest in HDP.

I highly recommend you to start with Sandbox. It has complete tutorial about how to use HDP.

    Hope this helps

    Larry
