    Hi All,
I just importend appliance (Sandbox/Hadoop) by creating Virtual machine. When I start the machine, it asks me ID and Password. Does anyone know that I should start different way or Hortonworks will send a separate email including ID and Password or may be I need to re-downloand and reimport from my ID (may be license it tied to ID). By the way, I downloaded and imported this appliance before registering at Hortonworks website. Please help and appreciated in advance!

    Hi Abid,

Did you download the sandbox for HDP 1.3 in Virtual Box?
If you go to http://127.0.0.1:8888 then you can run the tutorials & use HUE.
If you want to SSH then you need to ssh to 127.0.0.1 on port 2222 then you need to use root / hadoop

    Thanks

    Dave
