HDP1.1 for Windows Uninstall Failed

    I want to uninstall HDP1.1 via command line, but a fatal error occurred and uninstall failed. Then I can’t uninstall HDP1.1 via command line and control panel. Below is the detailed info. Any help will be appreciate.

    output: A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument ‘+’.

    Hi Ryan,

    I have not tested it yet so I am not sure if it will work or cause more issues, but you can try removing HDP from registry manually. Here is some information:


    I was able to locate record in registry by searching for “hortonworks” and locating record in …\uninstall folder in registry.

    Please let me know if this is useful.
