    Hi,
I want to uninstall HDP1.1 via command line, but a fatal error occurred and uninstall failed. Then I can’t uninstall HDP1.1 via command line and control panel. Below is the detailed info. Any help will be appreciate.

    Hi Seth,

I have uninstalled it by removing it from registry manually. It works.
    Thanks very much.

    Hi Ryan,

I have not tested it yet so I am not sure if it will work or cause more issues, but you can try removing HDP from registry manually. Here is some information:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314481

I was able to locate record in registry by searching for “hortonworks” and locating record in …\uninstall folder in registry.

Please let me know if this is useful.

    Thanks,
    Seth
