Hive check execute fail.

    After installed Ambari with HDP1, I inadvertantly remove the hdfs dir “/apps” , that contains many data of various services.
    After that mistake, my Hive always fails at check execute stage, when I starting it.
    How I resolve this problem. or Is there way to reinstall components in ambari ? or recovery process provided by ambari?

    Hi Lin,

    How did you delete this directory in HDFS?
    It is possible that it might be moved to the trash folder, so you may be able to recover it from there – unless you used -skiptrash or have emptied it.
