Hive-insert Hbase : Property value must not be null

    Hi Francois,

    Are you able to provide a full stacktrace? Have a look in /tmp/$USER/hive.log. There were some regressions in the Hive + HBase integration that shipped in Hive 0.12. That’s why those instructions were written against HDP-1.3. I suspect you’re running into https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HIVE-5515. I believe the fix was shipped in our HDP-2.0.9 update. Do you mind updating your HDP install and trying again?
