    Hi – I have installed HDP in a 3 node cluster & configured hive with mysql.

    Question is – Any O/S user is able to get into hive & create their own DB + they can drop or modify others as well.
    Is there an config entry that can be controlled to avoid this – meaning, users should not have create database (in hive) privilege by default – but should be given on demand basis.

    Also – how can we make sure user1 will not query or see user2 db – unless the privelge is given explictily (say, using a ROLE).
