How to execute sqoop.cmd from SSIS package using Execute Process Task

    Hi
    I am trying to execute sqoop.cmd from SSIS package using Execute Process Task

    Execute Process Task in SSIS Package
    Executable: C:\Hadoop\sqoop-1.4.2\bin\sqoop.cmd
    Arguments: /C “sqoop import -connect “jdbc:sqlserver://machinename:1433;database=test;username=myuser;password=mypwd;” -table emp -target-dir /user/emptable -m 1″

    Please help me how to solve this.

    Hi Durga,

    Were you able to get this working? Were you able to do something simple like sqoop version?

    Its not working, I believe that its not possible with this version.

    There is a Microsoft document which talks about how to leverage a hadoop cluster using SQLServer Integration services (SSIS): http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj720569.aspx
