I am having the following issue while attempting to execute an Oozie workflow,

    [hadoop@hadoop ~]$ oozie job -config /home/hadoop/oozie/recommendations/ -run
Error: E0902 : E0902: Exception occured: [org.apache.hadoop.ipc.RemoteException: User: oozie is not allowed to impersonate hadoop]

Google search says I should add the following lines to core-site.xml.

    Proxy group for Hadoop.

    Proxy host for Hadoop.

I first stopped Hadoop by stopping the services in HMC. I then edited /etc/hadoop/conf/core-site.xml and started the service in HMC. This all works fine, but my changes are getting overwritten. I didn’t see the property exposed in HMC.

    How/where do I update core-site.xml?

    Thanks in advance,
