Hue fails to start with following error in beeswax_server.out. Any idea why it’s trying to start the Beeswax server, I have that section commented out in hue.ini.

14/02/15 15:46:38 FATAL beeswax.Server: hive.metastore.local is set to false. The Beeswax internal metastore is not supposed to run.

    Hi Fred,

Can you check your hive-site.xml and check the setting hive.metastore.local and set this to true. Unless you have any reason to set it to false?
You will need to check this on the hive-site.xml located on the server which is running hue.

    Thanks

    Dave
