    hi,
I’m keen on learning Hadoop and related technologies and I have Windows 7 32 bit OS.
Is it possible to install HSP sandbox using a VMware image on my PC.
    Please advice.
    cheers,

    Hi Rajkumar ,

To add to Peter’s comment you can check here for Hardware recommendations here:
    http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP1/HDP-Win-1.1/bk_installing_hdp_for_windows/content/win-chap1-2.html#win-chap1-2-1

Also, to learn Hadoop and related technologies and components you can try using Hortonworks Sandbox. You can find more information here:

    http://hortonworks.com/products/hortonworks-sandbox/

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Seth

Hi, it depends on processor of your machine. You’ll need to make sure your processor has hardware virtualization and that it is enabled in the BIOS. If you have intel processor here you can check whether it supports virtualization, or download VmWare compability checker.
