    Hi Manoj,

    This documentation is dev (not GA) and is for an older version of HDP.
    This is why the repository does not contain tez as it is still not GA and certified.

    Hello Dave,

    Thanks for the info. So when can we expect a public release of Tez for 2.0.6.
    Also is it ok if we compile it the source from Apache website, do you think that hortonworks HDP will accept it.
