What version of Ambari are you using? And what Stack did you select during install?

    Sushma K

    I used “wget

cp ambari.repo /etc/yum.repos.d”. So I suppose I used, I dint understand what you meant by “stack” ? I am installing HDP on EC2 via Ambari Installer using RHEL 6.4 64 bit instances

Hi, During the cluster install, Ambari Wizard gives you an option to choose “what Hadoop stack to install”. For example, HDP 2.0, or HDP 1.3. Did you select HDP 2.x or HDP 1.x?

    Hi Jeff,

    Thank you for the reply.

I selected HDP 2.0.6 Stack, now I understand that jobs task is not included for this stack . I am clear now.
