    Hi,

    The .csv file i am using contains cell data with commas,
    All the following ways didn’t work

    data = LOAD ‘/tmp/ChatterData.csv’
    USING org.apache.pig.piggybank.storage.CSVExcelStorage() — Tried default comma, tried with ‘\t’
    AS (CommentBody:chararray,CommentType:chararray,CreatedById:chararray);

    tried with PigStorage()
    frst= load ‘/tmp/ChatterData.csv’ USING PigStorage(“,”) — Tried default TAB delimition ,
    AS (CommentBody:chararray,CommentType:chararray,CreatedById:chararray);

    Is there any way without using TextLoader()?

    its working with . ………..
    dataa= LOAD ‘/tmp/ChatterTab.txt’ — This is TAB delimited text file
    USING org.apache.pig.piggybank.storage.CSVExcelStorage(‘\t’, ‘YES_MULTILINE’, ‘NOCHANGE’, ‘SKIP_INPUT_HEADER’)
    AS (CommentBody:chararray,CommentType:chararray,CreatedById:chararray, .. . . .. . . .. ..

    But , if the text contain unmatched double quotes in the data, output will be improper.
