    e:\HadoopInstallFiles\HadoopSetupTools\hdp-2.0.6.0.winpkg.install.log

however the log file does not exist..in that drive. I have not used e:\ in any of the directories to install.. but it still takes e:\

    Hi Raja,

Did you install Python as a pre-requisite?
Are you running the installer as Administrator?
What does your cluster.properties file contain?

    Thanks

    Dave

My observation with this bug is sometimes, log file is not being created..(don’t know consistent way to reproduce this)

Irrespective of this bug, I was able to install HDP Windows.
