Hi. I need guidance to set up an Hadoop Environment using HorntonWorks on Windows. I would like to have 3 virtual servers, 1 master & 2 slaves. The slaves should be able to intake 3 TB’s of data. What should be the specification of the virtual servers & version of the Horton Sandbox. Also, how to go about re-scaling if required in the future.

I will also appreciate if anyone can guide me to a quick reference/study material on the same.

    Thanks.

    Hi Anirban ,
It depends on the virtualization software package you are using , there is Sandbox for Oracle VirtualBox and Sandbox for Vmware Fusion and both of them work perfectly.
I foud this Document, I hope it will help you
