    Hi,
I have followed up the instructions from the manual and the sandbox set up completed successfully. It shows the IP address of the Sandbox. But when i try to open in my browser it doesn’t open. Even i am not able to ping this IP from my computer. What could be the possible issue?
Is it related to DHCP setting? FYI.. It is already enabled.

Thanks Seth for response. But i am little dumb when it comes with network configuration and IP assignment.
Here is how i went and set up DHCP:

    1. I have selected “Host-Only Network” in preferences. This showed me Ethernet adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network #2.
    2. I have enabled the DHCP server and it asked me SERVER IP ADDRESS, SERVER MASK, LOWER ADDRESS BOUND & UPPER ADDRESS BOUND.
    3. for Server IP i have given the IP address of my machine. But I am not sure whether I should i have this IP same as IPV4 address in adapter setting? This is where confusion is. Moreover, I don’t know how to set up lower and upper bound.

This is where i need help, kind of hand holding.

    Hi Manish,

Looks like your Host only adapter (Ethernet adapter VirtualBox Host-Only Network #2) does not have IP assigned. We can see from below that it got 169.254.227.61 instead if something like 192.1682.x.x.

Can you please make sure that this adapter is enabled as well as DHCP enabled in Virtualbox?

    Thanks,
    Seth

Yes. I have ran in sandbox linux box and it shows both adapter up and running. Do you have any idea about what should be the entry for SERVER IP ADDRESS, SERVER MASK, LOWER ADDRESS BOUND & UPPER ADDRESS BOUND when enabling DHCP. Should the DHCP server address match with IPV4 address?

    Hi, Manish

    Thanks for trying sandbox.

The network setting for the vm image is that adapter attached to host only adapter and adapter attached to NAT.
If everything is set up correctly, can u try ifconfig from linux command line to see if the 2 ethernet interfaces are up?

    Thanks

    Larry
