ODBC Error on HDP 2.0

    Hello ,

    I am getting below error when I am trying to test ODBC connection on Windows 7.

    Driver Version: V1.3.19.0013

    Running connectivity tests…

    Attempting connection
    Failed to establish connection
    SQLSTATE: HY000[Hortonworks][HiveODBC] (34) Error from Hive: connect() failed: errno = 10060.

    TESTS COMPLETED WITH ERROR.

    Here are the configuration details :

    Description : Sample Hortonworks Hive DSN
    Host : 192.168.56.101
    Port : 10000
    Database : default
    Hive Server Type : Hive Server 2
    Mechanism : User Name
    User Name : sandbox ( tried with user name hive unsuccessfully )

    How did you solve it?
    I have the exact same issue on my installation?
    I’ve tried everything: opening up the firewall, changing the port, different usernamne setting (“sandbox, “hue”, “hadoop”, “Hadoop”)
    Still have the same issue.
    What did you do to solve it?
