Pig call sqoop for export pig script results

    Hi erverybody,

    i want to call sqoop from my pig script to export the results of my map/red functions.
    the results are hugh and i dont want to save it first and then read it by sqoop to be exported. is there a way to export my map/red results from pig script via sqoop directly?

    If you use HCatStorer with PIG, then you can export the data directly by specifying the hcatalog table with the hcatalog export option in Sqoop. There is not a direct sqoop export support from PIG
