HDP on Windows – Installation Forum

Problem installing HDP 2.1 on Windows 2012 R2

    Trying to install HDP on a Windows 2012 instance on AWS. From the logs it looks like the installation failed while installing oozie. But am not able to make out from the log, why it failed. Installation detail are :

    Windows : Windows 2012 R2
    HDP : HDP
    Python : Tried with both 2.7 and 3.4
    JAVA_HOME : No space in JAVA_HOME.
    MS .NET Framework : Installed
    Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (64 bit) : Installed

    OOZIE params in the installation screen :
    dbname: oozie
    username: oozie
    password: oozie

    For installation i am running the following command from PowerShell:

    runas.exe /user:administrator "cmd /C msiexec /lv c:\hdplog.txt /i C:\Users\Administrator\Downloads\hdp-\hdp-\hdp-"

    The error logs in the hdplog.txt can be found here : https://gist.github.com/gautamborad/145a651aca0bdff7fa8b Kindly let me know if i am missing anything. Any help will be appreciated.
