    Hi Dave,
After some trial and error with the Network settings, it’s working now.
Currently I have the following settings.
Adapter 1 and Adapter 2 have Host only adapter and name Virtual Host-only ethernet adapter and promiscous set to allow all.
Happy that it worked for me…let me do my hello world and play around.

    Thanks for all your time.

    Regards,
    James

    Hi James,

You should be able to connect on the IP if you have used bridged connection.
If you use NAT, then you should be able to connect on http://127.0.0.1:8000 or 8888

Are you running this on your own personal network, what IP range does it use (192.168, 10.0.3, etc)

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hi Dave,
I changed the adapter to Bridge and getting the below message, looks like the address is repsonding but taking long time

    The connection has timed out
The server at 10.0.3.15 is taking too long to respond.
    Any other thoughts…

    Thanks in advance,
    James

    Hi James,

Can you configure the network adapter to be bridged?
Then do the same again and from your browser use the IP address & port of 8888

Let me know how you get on,

    Thanks

    Dave

    Hi Dave,
    Thanks for the reply.
When i ran the ifconfig command it displayed me the following ip on eth1
    10.0.3.15
and my adaptar 1 is configured to Host-Only and adapatar 2 is configured to NAT ( I am using dell laptop which is connected to my home router)

    Hi James,

If you log into the terminal of the VM and run ifconfig – what IP has been given?
Also are you using NAT or bridged connection?

    Thanks

    Dave
