    Hi,

is this a common scenario to put Ambari onto an already running cluster (HDP2 installed manually), or is this baaaaad and not recommended?
It would be great to have either a step-by-step explanation for how to install Ambari to manage the already running cluster, or some explanations why this is not useful/recommended/possible.

    many thanks in advance

    Hi Gerd,

Currently this is not recommended and is not supported.

    Thanks
