    Hi,

Ambari server fails to register the nodes with the error log below.
I have configured passwordless ssh and it is working.
Changed the permissions of ./ssh and ssh/authorized_keys to 777
Still I have the same problem.
    Any help is much appreciated.

    Hello,

I am getting exactly the same error. I can connect to all my hosts via passwordless ssh fine but unable to register hosts via ambari.

Did you have any luck in resolving this?

I did an install on a new cluster a couple of weeks ago and did not have this problem

    Thanks

    Grant
