Running Hive script on Sandbox

  • #48217
    Nick Gilmour

    Hi all,

I have a hive script (hive_script.q) and some text files on which the script should be applied. I couldn’t find any guide how to upload the script on sandbox and run it. Could someone tell how that works or provide me a link with a guide?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Nick,
You could either execute the script in beeswax (Hive UI) in the HUE interface or you could scp the file over to the sandbox and run via the hive shell. Hope this helps.
