Sandbox VM for Hyper-V does not work in Server 2012 R1

I hope this is the correct place for this, if not I apologize.

The pre-built VM for Hyper-V appears to have been created in Hyper-V 2012 R2 which means it cannot be used in a 2012 R1 environment:

This is not indicated on the website and is a problem in our environment as Server 2012 R2 is not yet officially supported by the Dell Equallogic HIT Kit, as such our clusters are obviously still using 2012 R1.

Creating a new VM using the provided VHD does appear to be working, I will provide updates if there are any issues with this workaround.
