Hortonworks Sandbox Forum

Sandbox with Informatica

  • #26989

    Hi,

I want to connect to the Hortworks sandbox (virtual box in my machine) from Informatica Powercenter installed in my local machine.
It will be great help if someone share the configuration guide or steps or if any connector is needed.

    Hi Mithun,

Might I ask you what exactly is Informatica Powercenter?

    Thanks,
    Ted.

Informatica is a (ETL) Extract , Transform and Load tool for building datawarehouses.

    Hi Mithun, Shelly,

Are you using ‘Informatica PowerExchange for Hadoop’? If so maybe their sight would be able to guide you a bit better in setting up the connection.

    Thanks,
    Ted.
