I have a successful installation of HDP 2.0 for Windows, on Windows Server 2012 Datacenter R2. When I run the Smoke Test I get File Not Found errors. It seems the the Powershell Script is not using the Environment Variables to map to the files.

    Sample output:

Hadoop smoke test - wordcount using hadoop.cmd file
The system cannot find the path specified.

UPDATE: I started the Hadoop command line (click the command line shortcut on the desktop), at the c:\hdp prompt enter: runas /user:hadoop cmd
enter the password for the hadoop user.

Then run: hadoop fs -chmod -R 755 /mapred

This will allow you to run the first part of the smoke tests. I am still getting errors on the Hive Smoke Tests but I suspect it is related to the same permissions errors. This is not in the quick start guide for installing on a single node.
Hope this helps other Newbies like me..
