Source Code for Sandbox 2.1

  • #51629

    Hi all,

I want to modify hadoop-mapreduce-client-app.jar in my Hortonworks sandbox 2.1. I downloaded the source code for hadoop 2.4.0, built the necessary class files and updated all the necessary jars in my sandbox. I restart my sandbox, try to run run one of the sample mapreduce jobs and the job fails because it cannot launch the ApplicationMaster (I’m trying to change, so this makes some sense). I have been able to successfully modify other jars following the procedure described above.I suspect there is a compatibility issue between the source of hadoop 2.4.0 and the source of Sandbox 2.1 because when I run “hadoop version,” the output is “” Is there any way I can get the source code used to build Sandbox 2.1? Thank you in advance for your time!
