    Hi Gnanesh,

    What version is postgres? Can you post us the sqoop command you are using?
    This post maybe helpful:

    Yi,

    postgres version is 8.2.15, the command i am using is very simple

    sqoop import –connect xxx –username xxxx –password xxxx –table xxxx

    I checked that link but i have no idea about postgres db, this is the first time i am working on it as its part of Greennplum HD, but i see one suggestion to set below parameter to the jdbc driver

    prepareThreshold=0

    so can i pass the above parameter to the sqoop import statement ?

    Regards
    Gnanesh
