Does anyone have experience with solid state drives? We are thinking of making one of our partitions a SSD and the rest 7200 rpm, would this increase performance for the data that landed on the SSD?

    Hello Li,

Having one SSD drive in your chain would not increase your overall performance on that node, if the other drives are not capable of saturating IO at the same rate. Best practice per node would be to use drives of identical oem and model.
