Seems like HBase is not enabled in the sandbox by default, even though it is running in the background.
    1. Can there be tutorials about HBase ? Seems like an obvious miss.
    2. Finding in the knowledge base an article about HBase (http://hortonworks.com/kb/test-hbase-setup-testing-hbase-setup-testing-hbase-setup/) , seems like the commands are outdated and dont work. Upon changing them and starting the HMaster, i get:

    [root@sandbox ~]# su hbase – -c “/usr/lib/hbase/bin/hbase-daemon.sh –config /etc/hbase start master; sleep 25″

    In the log:
Could not start ZK at requested port of 2181. ZK was started at port: 2182. Aborting as clients (e.g. shell) will not be able to find this ZK quorum.
13/09/16 19:04:01 ERROR master.HMasterCommandLine: Failed to start master
java.io.IOException: Could not start ZK at requested port of 2181. ZK was started at port: 2182. Aborting as clients (e.g. shell) will not be able to find this ZK quorum.

I then tried changing the ZK port explicitely in the config to 2182, but that further created problems.
    Any help ?
