Test the data ingestion into Hadoop

I was wondering if there is any best practice for how to write a test script to check if the data is properly ingested from source data feeds into hdfs and then into hbase tables? I mean check the fields are all properly loaded to the field they were intend to be loaded. Considering the data size, I was wondering if there is any specific tool or best practice for this.

    Hi Aysan,
As far as HDFS data, you should be able to compare the bytes of the source file with the file when its in hdfs, it should match.
