Tutorial 2 Pig Issue

    I noticed another user reported this a couple of months ago however, I wanted to bring it to someone’s attention that there is still an issue with tutorial 2. Could someone add the filter criteria or instructions to remove the column headers to the tutorial text?

    Seem to have the same issue with tuorial 2 – but am not able to load any other (existing) table with pig – what are the header limitations / issues?

    It isn’t header aware, i.e. it sees the header row as just another data row.

    Since we are casting the column to a numeric type, the header name can’t be casted and therefore throws an error.
