  • #16722

After I install Oracle Virtual box, I tried installing sand box.
After completing the installation steps, when I try to start the machine, I am getting bellow error..
“VT-x features locked or unavailable in MSR.

Can some one help me to resolve this issue?

    Hi ravindra ,

Please make sure that the virtualization in BIOS is enabled upon booting.

I have the same problem ..

Hi Ravindra, Did you problem resolve? I am not getting the below solution proposed .. (use HTML tag & Attr)

    Thanks, Yusuf

    Hi Yusuf,

Can you please check to make sure that hardware virtualization is enabled in BIOS on your host machine? You can find more information on 64 bit guests instances in VirtualBox here (see section “Does VB support 64 bit guests?”):

    Hope this helps.
